ens_calculator.elesize(source_parts: List[ENS_PART] | List[int] | List[str] | ENS_PART | int | str, output_varname: str | None = None) → ENS_VAR

Compute an element based scalar variable defined as the length/Area/Volume of 1d/2d/3d elements in the parts specified.

source_parts:

Any part(s) or a part number.

output_varname:

The name of the newly created variable

Returns:

New ENS_VAR instance or None
