ens_calculator.defect_shapefactor(source_parts: List[ENS_PART] | List[int] | List[str], output_varname: str | None = None) → ENS_VAR

Computes a per node scalar variable defined as the largest linear extent divided by the diameter of the sphere whose volume equals the bulk volume of cells comprising the defect.

Any part(s) or a part #.

output_varname:

The name of the newly created variable

Returns:

New ENS_VAR instance or None
